Now available on vinyl for the first time as part of a four LP boxset entitled Slowly Arranged: 2016-2019, or as a single LP. Out August 19th 2022
These 9 abstract and lo-fi pieces were recorded during the summer of 2016, when focusing on creating them helped guide me through a difficult period of anxiety, panic and a regular dissociative feeling called derealisation (www.mind.org.uk/information-support/types-of-mental-health-problems/dissociative-disorders/
This was made at a time when doing something creative in a quick and immediate fashion felt vital, and doing so helped carry me to a new place. I’m releasing them now as a cathartic measure, and as a message for others who may be going through difficult times themselves.
What I told myself at the time, what I can tell you now: You are not in danger. You are not going insane. You are not alone.

PS > I had donated the proceeds of this album to the UK mental health charity Mind for the first few years of it being available. Since sales slowed down I moved into a regular monthly donation for the charity, regardless of whether the proceeds matched or not. I figured it would balance itself out over time. I encourage you to make a donation directly to Mind, or another mental health charity of your choice.
